Day Four - Tuesday - All Together Now - Let the Ride Begin!

We left Phoenix at 10:30 am. Bill's and my bike were running a little rough but we are doing better now. I think it was the altitude. We did have to make the first stop becaue Richard's bike was getting some front end shimmy. We adjusted his tire pressure and slowed down to 70mph.

  1. Tony, on the FJR if you keep constant throttle position while climbing the ECU won't adjust for air pressure. All it takes is a little 1/8 or 1/4 throttle twist for the ECU to resample. This doesn't happen to most folks since you usually come across someone to overtake. Thus opening up the throttle. But you are riding with those cruiser guys so who knows .... just kidding riding is riding. I'd rather be riding than sitting in this meeting. Piece!
