Made it back to Sedona around 11:00. We started our trip back to Sedona on Rt 40E with snow covered pine trees lining the hwy, and we spotted a herd of 15 elk in a clearing. We stoped at an overlook off of Rt 17S for a photo op as the temps slowly rose to 45'. Route 179N into Sedona was a spectacular drive with nice views.
